In the age of convenience, the physicians at Back In Line are glad to answer your health care questions via e-mail. Please be aware that patients physically present in the office take priority and therefore response to your e-mail may be delayed during busy times.
To keep our electronic health records up to date, e-mails between patients and physicians will be printed/saved into your patient records, not to be shared with anyone outside of medical necessity without your permission per our HIPPA policy.
Because of this, if you have multiple questions it is preferred that they be sent in one email, rather than multiple emails with one question.
There will be no charge for emails sent within 7 days after an in-office visit. After 7 days, patients will be billed for e-mails with questions that imply response needed using the procedure code 99444. One unit will be billed for every 20 minutes of interpretation time on behalf of the physician.
